Surface treatments for medical parts

Description:

An important multinational company in the medical sector has chosen SAITA for the installation of a new zero liquid discharge water treatment system for vibrofinishing (tumbling), cleaning and anodizing of : aluminum, titanium and stainless steel parts. Following the successful outcome of laboratory tests, two types of zero discharge treatments were installed: The first is a vacuum evaporator mod. EV30SD, with a capacity of 700 l/day, made of Superduplex SAF2507, for the treatment and recycling of the water produced by the anodizing and cleaning lines. While for the vibrofinishing wastewater, a chemical-physical batch plant was installed complete with an automatic powder dosing unit and a centrifuge for the dehydration of the sludge. The purified water obtained from both processes is reused within the company’s production processes.
