Description:
New project in the Lake Orta area known as the “Italian district for taps” for the new galvanic line of one of the major player of the market.
The water treatment plant is highly innovative, foreseeing several water recycling systems ensuring a continuous and efficient production of the galvanic line, using less than 1000 lt/h of water per hour of fresh water. A galvanic plant comparable in size and production capacity would use at least seven times as much, with a daily consumption close to 50,000 litres.
The water treatment process foresees several ion exchangers for the recycling of the DI water rinses, chemical-physical treatments in batch and continous for the treatment of static and highly polluted rinses, reverse osmosis for the production of DI water and vacuum evaporators for water recycling.
The new galvanic line manage the deposition of trivalent chrome and hexavalent chrome so the water treatment plant is designed for both treatments with separate and dedicated sections.
Technical characteristics:
Batch and continous chemical-physical
N°2 Heat pump vacuum evaporators
Sludge dehydration with filterpress
DI water recycling with ion exchangers
Highlights:
Trivalen chrome waste water treatment
Boron treatment
Remote supervision
